When negative things happen in your life, it seems that everything starts to go wrong. When you begin your day on a positive foot, the rest of the day is a positive one. Thoughts attract one to the other and gains power and momentum the more you think of them. What then manifests is the direct reflection of what you have been thinking and feeling so if we open ourselves to more positive options we empower ourselves.

 

And, in today's world many are faced with difficult challenges and issues. These are often dealt with by putting up barriers or patterns of behaviour such as eating disorders – over eating under eating, procrastination – putting things off or not wanting to deal with certain things, emotional problems, anxiety, tenseness  or fear, abusive behaviour (to themselves or others), health problems, relationship difficulties, negative thinking, and low self-esteem, to name but a few.

 

Modern day living is far more demanding on our bodies that produce chemicals that may have a long term impact on our health. The everyday of mental and emotional distress and even some physical illness can be traced to underlying anxiety, tension and stress. The result often puts us out of our balance to whom you are or who you are meant to be. This imbalance is between our cognitive conscious beliefs (thinking) and our subconscious or unconscious mind.

The purpose and benefit of Hypnosis can work on both levels boosting a conscious willingness to challenge oneself and minimising conscious interference making you the master of your emotion rather than your emotion controlling you. The role of a hypnotist in a therapeutic setting is to help you establish communication pathway with your unconscious mind in order to overcome your inner obstacles and reach a state of your own ability to deal with issues.

 

 Hypnosis generally focuses on and amplifies people’s strength. Hypnosis begins with the premise that the client has valuable abilities that are present and hidden, abilities that can be uncovered and used in a deliberate way to overcome symptoms and problems. The conscious and unconscious thought patterns have a different set of functions but also share a considerable number of functions between them. The unconscious mind is not rigid or analytical

 

All change takes place at the unconscious level we become aware of the change consciously when we are ready. Hypnosis is not sleep -people in Hypnosis trance are more awake to themselves and are in full control of what you want to take in.

This is one way to access the hidden treasure-house of our minds is through deep relaxation of mind and body. Yet another is when someone says something and it captures your imagination to the point that what you are imagining how it feels subjectively real to you.

Cost $120 - flat rate per session  (if a home visit is required travel costs are additional)
Number of session depends on issues  usually  1-6 sessions
Psychotherapy sessions depends on clients progression, issues and support needed
